About: Next Generation Incubation Scheme (NGIS) is STPI’s comprehensive incubation scheme which has a vision to drive the rise of India as a Software Product Nation, so as to make India a global player in development, production and supply of Innovative, Efficient and Secure Software Products (including embedded software) ,thus facilitating the growth across the entire spectrum of ICT sector. as envisioned in the National Policy on Software Products (NPSP) – 2019.

NGIS is focused on 12 Tier-II locations of India viz. Agartala, Bhilai, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Dehradun, Guwahati, Jaipur, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Mohali, Patna & Vijayawada.

NextGen Startup Challenge Contest (CHUNAUTI – Challenge Hunt Under NGIS for Advanced Uninhibited Technology Intervention) is an online Challenge under NGIS to find the products & solutions to address the issues/challenges faced during and post pandemic situation. CHUNAUTI is looking to identify and support the solutions which can support Government, industries & public at large for their seamless operations and enabling them to face the varied difficulties & bottlenecks during and post pandemic situation.

To enable innovative start-ups to develop IoT based applications, products and solutions,  STPI has set up the CoE – “STPI IoT OpenLab” at Bengaluru equipped with high end Test & Measuring equipment, Tools and Sample Bank of Electronics enriched with industry experienced mentoring for making IoT products competitive in Global Market.

STPI is organizing a special webinar focused on “Going Live with STPI IoT OpenLab” to disseminate knowledge on the OpenLab facility & Service offerings along with deep deliberation on Challenges & Innovations/solutions in IoT Sectors.

SCOUT (Smartcity Challenge & Outcome for Urban Transformation) – 2021 is a Pan-India contest for start-ups/ innovators focusing on solutions for Smart-Cities.The objective of SCOUT 2021 is to invitee solutions from Innovators/ Entrepreneurs/Startups/ Enthusiasts/Students/ Research communities to come up with alternative ways of fulfilling the specific needs & products or service in making the city life better and bringing transformation through disruptive technologies. These contestants will be expected to come-up with innovative creative ESDM solutions that solve defined problem statements to make future cities smart & self-sustainable. The objective is also to bring out state-of-art made-in India solutions and thus give a further boost to the idea of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

The Contest shall be followed by creation of POC for the successful solutions. These contestants will be expected to come-up with innovative creative ideas and solutions that can solve certain predefined problem to make future cities smart & self-sustainable

“IMAGE”, a Centre of Excellence for Gaming, Animation, VFX, Computer Vision, and AI Start-Ups, is a flagship initiative by STPI – Hyderabad, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India and Government of Telangana, in Collaboration with TVAGA (Telangana VFX, Animation and Gaming Association), HYSEA, IIIT Hyderabad, TIE Hyderabad, Hyderabad Angels and SucSEED Innovation Fund.

IMAGE CoE runs a six-month accelerator program for Gaming, Animation, VFX, Computer Vision & AI Start-Ups and provides mentor support, seed-funding, product growth exercises, opportunity to raise their subsequent round of funding through our investment partners, and other valuable resources/support.
